Ballet Classes
Jazz Classes
Combo Classes (Jazz/Tap): Our combo classes are great for beginning dancers. Our combo classes will perform a jazz routine at our Christmas Spectacular. For our Spring Dance Showcase they will perform a jazz routine as well as a tap routine. Our combo classes consist of Dazzle Stars (age 4), Glitter Stars (age5-6), Sparkle Stars (ages 7-8), Shine Stars (ages 9-11), Shimmer Stars (ages 12 and up).
Summer Combo Classes will not do tap in the summer, only a jazz routine will be taught for our Summer Recital since it is a shorter season.
Mini Gems and Twinkle Stars: We love our little dancers and want them to enjoy coming to class each week. Our Mini Gems (age 2) is for out tiniest dancers. They will work on coordination, following directions and learn dance in a fun creative environment. The Twinkle Stars (age 3) will work on coordination, following directions and creative dance as well, with a little more structure. Both classes will perform one routine at our Christmas Spectacular and Spring Dance Showcase.
Summer Mini Gems and Twinkle Stars will perform at our Summer Recital.
Competition Jazz Teams: If your child is ready to take it up a notch and loves to dance, then a competition team might be a great fit for them. We offer a Super Jazz Team where dancers will compete at 2 competitions and go 1.5 to 4 hours a week depending on age. We also offer an Elite Jazz Team where dancers will attend 3 competitions and dance 4.5 to 7 hours a week depending on age/level. Please ask us for more details on our competition jazz teams.
Jazz Technique Classes: We offer basic, novice, beginning, intermediate, and advanced jazz technique classes. These classes will not perform at our recitals. Jazz technique classes are usually added on as an additional class to help improve a dancer’s technique.
Tap Classes
Hip-Hop Classes
Find your own style in one of our hip-hop classes. Hip-Hop is a great way to let loose and groove to the music. We offer a Mini Hip-Hop (ages 5-8) and a Junior Hip-Hop (ages 9 and up) for beginning dancers. For our more experienced hip-hoppers we have a Junior Crew and an Elite Crew that compete at 3 local competitions. All of our hip-hop classes will perform at the Christmas Spectacular and Spring Dance Showcase.
Summer hip-hop classes will perform at our Summer Recital.
Tumbling Classes
Tumbling Tots: This class is designed for ages 2-4 years old. Students will work on following directions, coordination, strength and basic tumbling skills that will help them develop a love for tumbling.
Level 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 tumbling classes: We have an awesome tumbling program. Students will develop confidence, strength and correct placement with their tumbling. Once your child passes off the required skills in a level they will move up to the next level right away. All Tumbling students will participate in our Winter LimeLight Tumbling Meet and Spring Tumbling Showcase.
Summer Tumbling students will participate in our Summer LimeLIght Tumbling Meet.
Cheer Classes
Show your LimeLight spirit on our cheer team! We have a Mini Cheer Squad ((ages 5-8), Junior Cheer Squad (ages 9 and up), and a competition Varsity Cheer Squad (ages 9 and up). Our cheer classes will perform at our Christmas Spectacular and Spring Dance Showcase. Varsity Cheer will also compete at 3 local competitions.
Summer Cheer will perform at our Summer Recital.
