At LimeLight Dance Center in Payson, Utah, our Jazz dance classes are the perfect introduction for young dancers to explore multiple styles of Dance while building confidence, coordination, and technique.
Jazz & Tap Combo Classes
Our beginner combo classes introduce dancers to both jazz and tap, allowing them to experience the rhythm, movement, and excitement of both styles. These classes will perform a jazz and Tap routine at our Christmas Spectacular, and for our Spring Dance Showcase, they will perform a jazz routine.
Combo classes are divided into age-appropriate levels:
- Dazzle Stars (age 4)
- Glitter Stars (ages 5-6)
- Sparkle Stars (ages 7-8)
Jazz & Lyrical Combo for Ages 9-12
Our Shine Stars (ages 9-12) will participate in a Jazz/Lyrical combo class, giving them the opportunity to explore expressive lyrical movement while continuing their jazz training. For dancers who wish to continue tap as well, they can add our Jr. Tap class as an additional course.
